‘Silhouette Man’
I wanted the action to take place in a single take, without cuts. That way you’d feel as if the bonehead blocking the screen truly managed to land in exactly the right (or wrong, depending) spot.
What you see on the screen was shot the same day, edited at lunch, and played on a monitor hidden in the row for the actor to move to. I wanted to give it an exotic, foreign film look, so I shot it through a liquid camera filter containing absinthe.
