This commercial presents a simple truth, but does it with grace and humanity. And by the way, the truth happens to be perfectly relevant to the brand.

What I admire about the directing is the restraint. A series of flashbacks, moving earlier and earlier in time, culminating in the moment of the couple’s first meeting. The entire piece feels authentic, even though there are a couple of places where it’s obvious that there’s a puppet master tugging on the strings.
