I cast real bikers because they look different from actors who play bikers. The main actor was a score––a biker who happens to do stand up.

The guy who steals it for me, though, is the one who passes the avocado using his knife. He had that scary intensity that made me ask the prop master to dull all the blades, just to be safe. But then when he was around his 3-year-old kid, he was a sweetheart.
